Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

When you sign in, Supabase Auth stores your email address and basic OAuth profile data provided by the identity provider (Google or Discord), such as your username and avatar URL. We do not collect payment information or any data beyond what is required to operate the service.

2. Submission data

Submissions you create include your public handle, the reason text, and a reference to your proof. Once a submission is approved by an admin it becomes publicly visible on the site. Proof screenshots you upload are stored in private Supabase Storage and are not directly browsable by other users; only a derived link included in your submission is shown publicly if you choose to share one.

3. How we use your data

Your data is used solely to operate ProofOfRep — authenticating your account, displaying your approved submissions, and enforcing submission limits and moderation rules. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the service.

4. Data sharing and selling

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party. Approved submission content is public by design. Auth data is processed by Supabase under their own privacy policy.

5. Analytics and tracking

ProofOfRep does not currently use any third-party analytics or tracking tools. No cookies are set beyond those required for authentication sessions.

6. Data retention

Your account and associated data are retained for as long as your account exists. Approved submissions that are part of the public record may persist after account deletion at our discretion, stripped of personally identifying information where possible. 7. Security

Authentication and data storage are handled by Supabase, which uses industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. Row Level Security policies are enforced at the database level. No security measure is perfect; use the service accordingly.

8. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated at any time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
